LORETO - 3rd Annual Paella Competition RESULTS

The 3rd Annual Paella Competition and Gourmet Luncheon, held at The Inn at Loreto Bay on Friday, November 7th, 2010 turned out to be a wonderful event, enjoyed by competitors and guests alike.

We want to sincerely thank all of the competitors who so willingly provide all of the ingredients for their wonderful paellas and spent hours cooking these spectacular works of edible art!!

Without the sponsorship and friendship of ALL of the members and friends of Roganto Wine, and especially Antonio Escalante and Rogelio Sanchez this event could not happen. They are the flame that has lit the fire under this event and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts for helping us support local charities in Loreto.

This year, Homex and their representatives, Mr. Hector Camarena, Director and Ms.Carolina Gordon, Sales Manager of the Las Villa de Mexico and were instrumental in providing the venue at their property at The Inn at Loreto Bay and have kindly offered that the event be held there for some years to come. We also want to thank the hotel manager Mr. Peter Maxwell for all of his efforts and support on our behalf.

Our judges for the event were outstanding and thanks go to Erica Plascencia, Dia Morales, and Laurie O'Reilly for collectively choosing our winners for the most beautiful presentation.

Our most heartfelt thanks to all of the volunteers, who gave so much time and energy, and also to the people of this wonderful community who came and supported the event.
