Song Festival "Micaela Leal Lopez" May 20th in Mulege

Santa Rosalia, Baja California Sur .- The Municipality of Mulege, through the Department of Culture, invited to participate in the municipal stage Eleventh Sudcaliforniano Song Festival "Micaela Leal Lopez," which will take place May 20 at the premises of the House of Culture from 18:00 hour.

They released the director of Culture, Juan Luis Arce Alvarado, who noted that participation can be in one of three categories: ballad and bolero, ranchero and norteño, or free category.

He stressed that the festival in its early state is held in the capital of the state, because it forms part of the celebrations of the anniversary of the founding of La Paz, and each contestant may participate with a song by each category.

On the issue, the official said that is free, but must provide content that does not violate the principles of human dignity and exalted not criminal behavior.

The songs, he said, must be strictly minimum of 2 minutes 30 seconds and a maximum of 4 minutes, all need to be performed live by composer or by one or more interpreters, over 16 years, elected by it, and accompaniment can be recorded.
