TIJUANA - 29th Book Fair

On the 13th through to the 22nd of May will be the 29th edition of the Book Fair in the Plaza Rio Tijuana, where there will be lectures, performances, a children's ward, selling books at an event organized by Municipal Institute of Art and Culture, together with the union of booksellers of the city. Bilingual book clubs: Dog-ear tomorrow as the opening of the 29th annual Tijuana Feria del Libro in the Plaza Rio Mall parking lot. The 9 day lineup includes some 95 exhibitors, 47 authors presenting new works, 30 workshops for kids in a special pabellón infantil, special homages to authors and Tijuana natives Dr. Guadalupe Jiménez Codinach and Federico Campbell, and scheduled performances by Tecate pillowtalk-pop buzz act Carla Morrison and contemporary dance troupe Lux Boreal.The fair is free and runs 10 a.m.-9 p.m. through Sunday, May 22. Plaza Rio Mall is adjacent to CECUT on Paseo de los Heroes in Zona Rio, less than a mile from the San Ysidro border crossing. More info at feriadellibrotijuana.com.
