TIJUANA .- Saturday August 6, 2011 .- The Secretary of Tourism of the Federal Government, Gloria Guevara Manzo, made ​​a working trip in Los Angeles, California, for the purpose of promoting the influx of tourists to different destinations in Mexico, including Baja California.
As part of this promotional tour, the Federal Ministry of Tourism together with the Secretary of Tourism of Baja California, Juan Tintos Funcke developed an intense work schedule and attended meetings and interviews with prominent U.S. media, both Anglo and Hispanic as well as with representatives of news agencies. Thus, held a meeting with the Editorial Board of the prestigious Los Angeles Times and later held interviews with TV networks Univision, Telemundo and Azteca America, and the agency Notimex.

In the same city, the head of the Ministry of Tourism of the Federal Government led a presentation to more than 300 travel agents, tour operators, businessmen and opinion leaders, in which he emphasized the progress that is in the field of tourism in our country and the importance of the relationship with the U.S. market, in this case in Southern California, supported with statistics, projects and programs being developed to boost tourism.

During the presentation included testimonials and examples of visits by world renowned, as well as the realization of international events in Mexico that are contributing to improving the image and perception of our country and Baja California more tourists to come.
